Some say San Diego has the best burrito, but I beg to differ. From experience San Francisco has the best burritos. My personal favorite burrito is the carnitas burrito with pinto beans, cheese, Spanish rice, guacamole, a little bit of sour cream, and either hot sauce or jalapeƱos. All in a large flour tortilla steamed with the cheese, which will not break ounce it has everything inside. The rice being the base, I believe makes or breaks a burrito. If the rice is too dry then it ruins the taste of everything else. Next comes pinto beans, which can’t have too much liquid on them when they are put in the burrito. The greasy, juicy, and crispy carnitas comes next – chopped and pilled onto the burrito. One of the most important part of the burrito besides the meat is the guacamole. The guacamole must have a taste lime and chunks of tomato and onion in it with visible chopped cilantro in it. Most importantly it is made with fresh avocados.
